Used Toyota Camry cars for sale

Toyotas are the biggest automobile manufacturer in Japan, and the second largest in the world, so you can be sure that Toyota cars have a great deal going for them. It is estimated that they will overtake GM in global production before this decade is out and given that nearly half of all new models registered in Japan in 2004 were Toyota cars, this does not seem unrealistic. So – what is it about Toyotas that makes them so popular.

The Avensis provides an insight. First off, you get a solid build and a well-put together interior – none of the faux-luxury faux-wood finishes of some previous Japanese offerings, just good construction values. It might not be quite as good a drive as its German rivals in the same class but then, it doesn’t cost nearly as much. However, when it comes to interior spec it matches them comfortably and that’s the hook with Toyota cars. If the Avensis were a German car you would have to pay many, many thousands more for it. The top level Avensis costs just under £19,000. The smaller engined BMW 320i (with SatNav as an added option, where it is standard on the Avensis) would cost you a further £6,000. It’s the same story with the Audi A4.

So there’s the answer. Well-made, solid cars with sound interior trim which undercut the rivals on price. They aren’t perfect but when you buy them, you know you’ve spent your money very well and you don’t often get a chance to say that, do you?
