Reviews of the Honda CR-V say that the car is very versatile and reliable, but the downside is that it does take on board a lot of fuel so it is not one of the most economical of cars. Here are some of its specs and features to help you decide whether it might be a contender. • The Honda CRV comes in a choice of two different engines with the 147bhp being the more popular; • the 147bhp is capable of 0 to 60 MPH in just over 10 seconds; • you might get up to 19 MPG with the 147bhp; • The Honda CRV is extremely easy to drive around town and on the motorway; • limited ground clearance so the Honda CR-V is not a serious contender for off-road; • comfortable interior with very supportive seating; • leg and head room is excellent in the CR-V; • dashboard is a little on the dated side; • space in the back is good and seats fold to allow for more room; • decent equipment on the base model, including electric mirrors and a driver’s seat that is height adjustable. The Honda CR-V may be a good choice for the larger family. However, while it is a 4x4 it is not a serious model for off the road.
