Drivers who may recently have secured car loans may be interested to hear about a number of changes that have been made to the Mazda 6.
Reuters reports this week that the Japanese auto manufacturer has boosted its range by making some slight alterations to the specifications of its popular mid-sized vehicle - but has kept the entry-level model at £11,440.
The news agency notes that the basic 1.4 S model will now come equipped with a new audio system and mp3 compatibility and car loans customers opting for the £13,495 Takara version can now expect climate control and curtain airbags, among other things.
Other alterations have been announced across the higher-end models that include leather seats, Bose stereo equipment, alloy wheels and xenon headlamps, however it is noted that there are now five less versions of the car than before.
"Although there are now just 14 models in the range, rather than the previous 19, each is better specified than the model it replaces," the article notes.
Internationally the car is often known as the Atenza and has been in production since 2002.
