The latest new cars from Fiat are defying the apparent economic squeeze, one expert has suggested.
According to the Times' Mr Money section, the Italian manufacturer "can do little wrong" following the release of its 500 model which has not only been selling well but also ticks the right boxes in terms of economical and environmental issues.
It is reported that the new car can be picked up by car loans customers for under £8,000 and as well as being the newly-crowned European Car of the Year, offers better CO2 emissions levels than a number of its rivals.
The article goes on to state that car finance customers can also take advantage of a number of special offers that the manufacturer has on its range that not only include the 500, but also popular models such as the Grande Punto.
"If Fiat carries on like this its sales will go through the roof," the newspaper concludes.
Last week, Auto Express reported that drivers could soon expect a hybrid version of the 500 to hit dealerships.
