ReviewCompeting in a segment full of good cars the resoundingly average Space Wagon has not made an enormous impression. That said, tough build and keen pricing mean that, if you have to get yourself a full-sized seven seater on a budget, it's definitely worth considering. It rides reasonably well but handling is uninspired and lots of noise penetrates the cabin when cruising. The interior is durable but utilitarian and without any of the 'surprise and delight' rival manufacturers specialise in. The basic 2.0 litre engine offers perfectly adequate motivation. Bigger 2.4 has clever 'GDI' direct petrol injection, but performance and fuel economy are both blunted by the standard-fit automatic gearbox.
