Mercedes S Class (99 - 05)

Rating
SummaryHighly Recommended. A super-yacht on wheels with seats that massage, this is motoring for the chosen few. Beautiful both to drive and to sit in. |
ReviewA big, luxury saloon designed to compete with the BMW 7 Series and Audi A8. The difference is that the Mercedes drives like a smaller car, with sporty handling and first-class refinement. There are two versions, long- and short-wheelbase, the former being ideal for Jeeves. The options list is long and reassuringly expensive, but standard equipment does include a pre-crash restraint system called Pre Safe, which pre-tensions seatbelts and adjusts seat positions for maximum passenger protection. The lighter interior adds more space to the stunning cabin. And anyone spending this sort of money surely won't be worried by the poor fuel consumption.
