SummaryRecommended. Toyota's answer to the small executive market and a good one too. What it lacks in power, it makes up for in involvement plus a healthy level of standard equipment. |
ReviewA sporty blend of old and new, this Lexus comes in two versions, the two litre and three litre but the latter is available only with automatic transmission. The SE (Special Equipment) version offers a more comfortable ride but the drive itself is full of fun and involvement and is as happy sitting on a motorway as it is winding its way up into the hills. Much effort has gone into the interior, particularly the dashboard layout and there is ample leg and headroom plus a generous boot. The IS 200 works well and offers a great package for the price.
