SummarySteer Clear. A tiny four-wheel drive that looks better than it really is. Lack of space and a bumpy ride are just a few of its problems - top models are expensive too. |
ReviewDaihatsu has some unusual vehicles in its fleet - none more so than the Terios. No bigger than a supermini, this 4x4 is like a bucking bronco over anything but the smoothest tarmac. Off-road ability is also pretty pointless in a city centre. Those facts together mean it will appeal to a limited number of buyers. The only 1.3 engine on offer is lively and returns good fuel economy. At motorway speeds the Terios struggles and is hampered in crosswinds. The 1.3 SL model is very expensive, even with standard air conditioning and alloy wheels.
