SummaryAverage. Curvy-looking supermini that represents great value, thanks to a strong equipment list and a lowly price tag. There's a sporty model that's fun too. |
ReviewAn image makeover has given the Sirion a fresh lease of life and a much smarter front end. The cute styling might not be to everyone's taste but excellent equipment levels and low prices make the Daihatsu worthy of consideration. The entry-level 1.0 is slow but 1.3 versions share the same engine as the Toyota Yaris. Slightly more pricey is the four-wheel drive 4Track version, while the F-Speed has a Formula 1-style clutchless gearchange. At the top of the range is the Rally 2 - very fast but not too sharp on the handling.
