Summary

Average. It might appear cheap on paper but the latest Nubira saloon isn't as cost effective as it used to be. Smart looks and build are let down by average drive.

Review

The Daewoo deal has always been about good value for money. While the new Nubira has a modern look and plenty of standard kit, it no longer represents top value when compared to rival saloons. Both petrol engine options perform well enough but don't feel that refined. The suspension has been fine tuned for UK roads and gives a comfortable ride. However, interior trim is only average and the stereo a real letdown. The back-up warranty package remains one of the best in the business but cautious buyers would consider the options and look at an entry-level Mondeo or Vectra.
