SummaryRecommended. Big Chrysler has plenty of space for people and luggage - but not at the same time. A good image and a superb ride to match. |
ReviewThe American philosophy of big is beautiful taken to the extreme. The Voyager is simply massive and can cope with seven passengers in three rows of seats - although luggage space is then cramped. The old version blotted its copybook with a poor NCAP crash safety record, but Chrysler has done a much better job with this model. Three engine options are available, from the sluggish 2.4 petrol up to the stronger 2.8 CRD diesel. The 2.5 CRD is a good compromise. Clever touches include electrically-operated rear doors and a three-zone temperature control. The grand Voyager is even larger and there's a new luxury XS model, too, with a DVD player as standard.
