SummaryRecommended. The ultimate in luxury all road driving, this is as close to piloting a sumptuous estate car, albeit a tall one, as it gets. |
ReviewThe SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) crosses the boundary between regular car and minor workhorse. Most people buy an SUV because they are loftier than many other cars on the road and they think that they will fare better than others in a crash which is a fallacy. BMW's build quality is unsurpassed as is their impact protection and the X5 is a beautiful car with the capability of covering semi rough terrain without too much frothing at the mouth. The engine line up includes the excellent 3.0 diesel affording eager and smooth on road performance combined with almost balletic control.
