SummaryAverage. Despite the avant-garde looks, a bit of an old-school Alfa - build quality is variable and some examples feel flimsy. |
ReviewIf it's open-top excitement you're after, the Alfa Spider is enormous fun, but the body is not really stiff enough for the V6 engine. Driving hard on a bumpy country road can make the car feel floppy. Given the size of the car, it is cramped even for a two-seater, with a small boot. Great looks and a great engine, but it is no Mazda MX-5 when the road gets twisty.
