Reg Rix

Managing Director at Net Cars Ltd.

Reg Rix is a co-founder and Managing Director of Netcars.co.uk. Reg concentrates primarily on developing the company’s sales synergies. He works alongside the vehicle manufacturers and major dealer groups as well as taking an active role in every department of the business, from marketing to web development.

Reg also serves as a Director of a successful web based motor finance business which he has developed with his brother Louis. Prior to the founding of Netcars.co.uk, Reg had taken an ardent interest in his father’s motor retailing business where he gained an invaluable insight into the motor trade. It was at this point that Reg had began to take an emergent interest in the World Wide Web inspired by the wave of dot-com start up’s.

Reg left North Cestrian Grammar at the age of 16 and initially pursued a career as a professional footballer, having played through the junior ranks for Rochdale FC and Sheffield United FC. He still enjoys playing 5-a-side football today and has other interests including fly fishing and fast cars.

Louis Rix

Marketing Director at Net Cars Ltd.

Louis Rix is an Online Marketing Enthusiast with over 9 years experience. He left Altrincham Grammar in 2000 and joined his brother Reg in the massive project that is www.netcars.co.uk. After many years of self tutoring and learning from industry experts Louis has mastered the art of Pay Per Click Advertising, Search Engine Optimisation and Affiliate Marketing. Louis is a stickler for attention to detail and is constantly learning and gaining new contacts on a day to day basis.

Before joining Netcars.co.uk Louis spent most of his school holidays working at his father’s dealership in Warrington, Rix Motor Company. Louis has a thorough understanding of the way car dealerships operate and has gained invaluable experience from his motoring roots. Louis wants to merge all of his knowledge and skill and bring netcars.co.uk to the forefront of the great British public’s mind when they are in the hunt for their new car!

Jonathan Wilson

IT Director at Net Cars Ltd.

Jonathan Wilson is a Web Developer with 7 years commercial experience. He studied Computer Science at The University of Salford and quickly decided he wanted to develop his talents on the world wide web. After gaining valuble experience at Capricorn Software, working on the Centrica Account, he moved on to join award winning digital agency Code Computerlove where he developed web sites for companies such as Sharwoods, NUS, HMV, Hovis, Speedy Hire and Kimberly Clark.

In December 2007 he was approached by Reg and Louis Rix to lead the development of Netcars.co.uk. Since joining Netcars, he has overhauled the existing backend management system. This has lead to the implementation of a new Netcars website using cutting edge web techniques, as well as incoorporating the world of social media.

Laurence Gilbert

Finance Director at Net Cars Ltd.

Laurence Gilbert is a Chartered Accountant. Early in his career he had a spell with KPMG as a Management Consultant. Subsequently he has been involved in the corporate sector in a range of Finance Director and Managing Director roles. He has operated in a number of different sectors including leisure, textiles, computer hardware distribution and the retail motor trade.

His roles in the motor trade have comprised Finance Director of Sytner, Managing Director of Stratton of Wilmslow, Divisional Director – Specialist Cars for the Reg Vardy Group and Managing Director and co-owner of Gilbert Lawton.
